Job Responsibilities
- Assess and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine project specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, drywall, and other materials for construction and remodeling projects.
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim according to design specifications.
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
- Construct and repair building frameworks and structures using wood, steel, and other materials.
- Select and procure materials needed for remodeling projects.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Operate hand and power tools to complete carpentry tasks and repairs.
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and other construction professionals to achieve desired results.
- Mix and pour cement for footings, pads, and other structural elements when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
- Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, or sealing surfaces.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems that arise during project execution.
- Enhance skillsets by staying updated on industry trends and new carpentry techniques.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry and remodeling.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipment safely and effectively.
- Experience with a variety of materials, including wood, metal, and composites.
- Ability to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, cabinetry, and finish carpentry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry is a plus.
- OSHA safety certification is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
Compensation details: 20-32 Hourly Wage
